We couldn’t find an instep pad (a pad that is used for the ‘under-side’ of the sandal straps) that was both functional AND attractive . . . so we made one ourselves! This pad has adhesive on one side so you can easily stick it to the upper to give your sandals a more snug fit. Perfect for all you narrow foot ladies out there! And we use the same quality leather that we use for our lining so not only is it super soft and comfortable it also matches the natural lining on most of our styles, so it blends in!

Why is the triangle shape called an instep pad? Where does it go, why is it triangle shaped?
Hi, the triangle instep pad can be used with styles such as the Finch to give them a more snug fit. They have an adhesive that allows you to attach them to the underside of the upper strap. The triangle shape fits the angled upper of the Finch, and we also have rectangular shaped instep pads for other styles such as the Pelican and Gallito. Hope that helps!

Hi, you would attach the instep pad on the underside of the upper strap. We recommend you try both on together without removing the adhesive backing to find where the pad feels most secure. Then, you can remove the backing and attach to the strap. Hope that helps!
