We’ve made every effort to size our sandals perfectly to a whole size model (meaning: size 6, size 7, size 8, size 9, size 10). If you are a half size footed person we recommend sizing up. Our closed-toe footwear now comes in half sizes (as of Fall 2017). Yay! So you should fit to your true size. Our leather is VERY soft (of course) so there will be a bit of stretch to it. So if the shoes are fitting snug then that is perfect. Check out our size chart and fit guide for more information.
Unfortunately we don’t. Please visit our online retailers to check out their selection, or find a beek location near you.
Breaking in your leather sandals is easy. Follow these 5 tips:
Wear them around the house
Soften the leather
Add a soft layer
Wear them outside
Give it time
Please note, our leather sandals with a rubber outsole don’t require a breaking-in period. Only our sandals with a leather outsole will break in over time. Learn more about How to Break in Leather Sandals on our blog.
Cleaning and caring for your beek leather sandals is easy. Simply clean the leather with a diluted mix of water and natural soap and add a natural conditioner, then repeat as necessary. Learn more about how to clean and care for your leather shoes, boots, and sandals on our blog.
We offer free returns for a full refund for items shipped in the last 30 days if you are not 100% satisfied with your order. Read more about our return policy.

Our mission was (and still is) simple: we wanted to create footwear that is both beautiful AND comfortable. Footwear you can live-in, and love-in, and gets better with age. Learn more on our About page.
All beek sandals are hand-dyed so there is a natural inconsistency to them. Take pride in it! Your sandals are one-of-a-kind!
Our sandals are fitted on a very “average” sized last (meaning the “mold” we use). If you are more narrow then we recommend contacting our customer service and we will “walk” you through (ha!) some suggestions. Here is the email address: help@thebeeknest.com

No, they won’t. All leather soles (meaning the bottom of the shoe) are naturally slippery since the leather is compressed. Much like a high-end pump would be slippery or a nice man’s dress shoe. Once they are scuffed up this will go away. So don’t go easy on them! Go scuff them up! Our shoes are meant to be lived in and loved in.
Absolutely. We take great pride in our all-leather soles (that entire sole is made of compressed leather which will age beautifully). Within hours of wearing them the leather will soften up and start molding to your feet. They will feel like custom made shoes just for you!
Not really. :-) We CHOSE to put a “toe spring” molded into our leather because it is a more natural curve to your foot and will add to the comfort and support of the sandals. The leather will start relaxing, and according to how your personal toes sit, the leather will lower to that spot and provide support (much like an arch) for your toes! We’ve made every effort to make our shoes as comfortable (and pretty) as possible.
