Crafted from the finest leathers sourced from top-notch tanneries, these sneakers boast a buttery soft leather lining over a molded arch insole that feels like a dream. Our love-affair with leather had us add a leather foxing as a fun detail. The durable rubber outsole ensures a smooth ride, while the sleek design represents everything we love about smart, minimalist style.

Product Care

For leather uppers (not suede), we recommend wiping clean with a damp cloth and conditioning the product 2-3 times a year. The suede can be brushed with a suede brush to clean.

Poor quality and no response from customer service

"I’ve given Beek many opportunities to address this issue so now I sadly have to leave this negative review. I wore my sandpiper shoes twice and the two dots that are the branding for Beek fell off of both shoes. Now I have four holes in the shoes and no response from Beek after multiple emails to address the problem. I don’t recommend spending this money on shoes that don’t hold up and no response, it’s a shame because they are quite adorable and comfortable."

Defective, poor quality & no customer service

"Very cute shoes, but the quality is absolutely shocking for a $320 price tag. After less than four hours of wear, 3 decorative emblems fell off, and the next day the 4th fell off, leaving 4 visible holes in both sides of the shoes. It appears the back side rivets were never put in to hold the front side, and I’ve been left trying to find replacement parts and repair them myself. The signature gold Beek stamped logo on the back is also worn like part of it was missed in the leveling of the stamp. The leather edging also scuffs extremely easily from normal walking, making the shoes look worn almost immediately. What disappointed me even more was the customer service. I was offered a 30% refund or a 25% discount on a future purchase, then the company stopped responding altogether. After 1. 5 weeks and 8+ emails, voicemails (they don’t answer the phone), and Instagram messages, I never received another reply or return call until I emailed their press and wholesale emails, and literally begged for help. The agent finally responded and said my emails were stuck in thier spam filter. So, after weeks of frustration, I got an $80 refund for $320 defective, poorly made shoes. I still feel scammed. Cute shoes, but poor quality and even more disappointing customer service."

"I have several pairs of Beek sandal plus I just ordered the sneaker. I love the comfort of these sneakers as the leather is very soft; however, after purchasing them to wear for a European trip, the stitching on the side one of the sneakers has come loose leaving a hole. I reached out to customer service for this issue plus other several times and I still haven't received a response. Their website says that customer service is a priority. . . but if that is true, then why hasn't anyone replied to me??? These shoes aren't inexpensive and their customer service should reflect the cost of the product. It's not right!!!"

"Super cute leopard pattern. The leather could have been thicker, I felt the upper was a bit thin and concerned about wear over time. I was bummed that my shoe size was too big. I tried the smaller size, however, the length was too short so I ended up having to return both pair. Bummer."

soft leather; minimal sole

"I misunderstood the construction of these shoes when I ordered them. The entire white band is leather, not rubber. While the leather is gloriously soft, it makes for a less stable, more flexible shoe. I did not find it supportive in a way that would be good for lots of walking. My slightly wide forefoot wanted to roll over the side of the very minimal rubber sole. It would be good as an indoor shoe for warmth and comfort around the house, but for me, not for touring or lots of outdoor wear."

My feet are slightly wide. The loafers were too tight in the toe area. How do the Sandpiper Leather Sneaker‘s run?
Hi, the Sandpiper sneakers will have a little more flexibility in fit than the loafers. I have a wider foot and they fit comfortably for me. Hope that helps! :)
I am a size 7 shoe but I wear a 7.5 in tennis shoes. I also own a pair of beek sandals and had to size down to a size 6.. what size should I get in these?
Hi, I would recommend trying the Sandpiper sneakers in the size 7 as they do run true to size. We do offer free returns and exchanges if you are not happy with the fit so feel free to give them a try!
My newish Sandpipers are squeaking and creaking, is there something I can do to help with this?
Hi, sorry you are experiencing that with your Sandpipers! Sometimes if the leather is squeaking, conditioning the leather could help (look into Aged Leather Pros balm or spray). If it's more from the insole, it could be an issue with trapped air or moisture. If the issue continues, reach out to us at help@thehelpnest.com and we can try swapping them out for a new pair.
I normally wear a size 5.5, since it does not look like this size is available, would a size 6 fit okay or would a 5 be a better fit?
Hi, for the Sandpiper, if you are narrow to average we would say go with the size 5, but if you are average to wide go with the size 6. Hope that helps!
Can I use my own insoles
The Sandpiper features a leather insole with molded arch that would be difficult to remove and replace. You may want to consult with a cobbler if you need to add your own insole.
