Not the same as my first pair

"I ordered the metallic after wearing out my pink pair. This pair gave me horrible blisters. I brought them on vacation after having such good luck with my previous pair of pelicans (as well as my gallitos and slides). This pair wrecked my feet within an hour and stayed in my suitcase the rest of the trip. I’m not sure if its the metallic finish that makes them wear differently or if the strap is wider than the originals but, the skin on the top of both feet was rubbed off and left my feet raw for days afterwards."

worth it!

"This is my third (!) pair of Pelicans and they are absolutely worth it. The footbed is super high quality and has great molded arch support. They stretch a tiny bit so this time I'm going down from the 10 to the 9 to see how it works after stretching. They don't have half sizes but I can see why. The quality on these is super high. My only regret is that when the corner of my sole started wearing down I didn't take them to the shoe repair store to install those little corner wear things to lengthen the life of the shoe - because the top of the shoe is always amazing and it's just the sole that gets the most life worn out of it from constant use. Definitely worth the money when you factor in the cost per wear factor."

My favorite summer shoe!

"I love them. My second pair! I did order a size smaller because of how much they stretch, and I think they will be perfect. They 100% will be the shoe of the summer for me…they really go with everything! The platform gives me a polished feel but also casual enough to “tone down” feeling too dressy. Comfy beyond. Great work shoe! I am in my feet all day as an Hair Stylist:) Also,I love birds and find it funny that my favorite shoe is named Beek! The shoe box was so cute too don’t want to recycle it!"

Weird noise

"Love the comfort. So very comfy and they are cute but the right one makes a funny noise while I’m walking like a squeak or thump . I can’t describe it but it’s a strange noise and for the price and the quality I’m surprised & a bit disappointed. And the noise is a kind of embarrassing. I hate to complain but felt you should know because your products are great and I would love another pair I’ve been looking at but am hesitant. Thank you for your time, Jacki Henning"

"I finally broke the code! I wear a 5.5 and in reading all the fit specs, Beek suggests that if you’re in the half size range to size up. That works for me in Beek flats but not in any of the higher platform or heeled styles. I had to return two Beeks that were size 6 because they were enormous! So I took a chance again on the Pelican (my first purchase a few months ago in size 6 was returned and size 5 was not available) in a size 5 and it was a perfect fit. Yipee! And by the way, not only a perfect fit but comfortable as well."
