"I love this beautiful forest green suede slide to wear in Texas Fall and Winter. I have Pelican leather slides that I sized down to 7 so they were not too loose in the toe area for walking. The 7 in these suede shoes are too short but the real concern was they were especially tight in the toe area so I exchanged for my usual true size of 8. Much more relaxed fit and casual. Also I did not want my whole toes exposed as they were in the 7s."

"First of all, I love the look of these shoes. I debated about whether to actually order them for a long, long time, as I am a 6. 5 and have had trouble historically with companies that advise those who wear half sizes to 'just size up. ' Problematic right off the bat. I actually measured my feet in centimeters and ended up trying them and sizing *down* based on my foot measurement in centimeters. They were fine for my right foot out of the box, though they took a long time for the vamp to relax enough and accommodate my slightly larger left foot, as my instep/arch is extremely high. They finally relaxed and fit fine and became my go-to slide - that is, until the soles wore out at the heels within a few months. So, loved the look of the shoe, but with the lack of half sizes combined with poor durability for this price point, I'll shop elsewhere."

I have had my Carmel pair since they originally came out, and missed the Ivy last year, so I'm glad it came back.
