The GALLITO slide is a leather-wrapped memory foam molded footbed sandal (now that’s a mouthful!). The molded footbed will provide arch and overall foot support and the memory foam will give cushion to the sole. The upper is 100% leather and the outsole is rubber for an easy all-surface grip.

Product Care

"These are beautiful slides. Unfortunately they are slightly too narrow for my feet, resulting in the raised footbed rubbing against my heel. I’ll still wear them, but sticking with my Pelicans for any substantial walking."
The only sandal you can walk for hours in
"I have super sensitive feet and get blisters all over (top from the straps, pads of my feet, heel, toe, you name it). To date these are the ONLY sandals you can bring on a euro trip with you, walk around all day, and have no discomfort. I have tried others when I wanted a sleeker option, and these are the only ones that work. I’ve walked 10 miles in Florence in these bad boys and hundreds of flights of stairs in Lisbon. Just get em! Narrow footed gals beware - the strap stretches due to how supple the leather is. I have normal to wide feet and with all the walking, they’ve def stretched out. They mold easily to your feet though and to be fair I’ve put some serious mileage in!"

- Thanks for checking! All of our shoes are made in two factories in Mexico and one in Brazil. They are small production lines and each pair is handmade by local artisans who love to work on our product because they get to take their time and make them the old-fashioned way. - Do you have footbed width measurements for the Gallito size 9? I’m interested, but I have a wide foot. Thank you!
- Hi Kiki, sorry we do not have specific width measurements for the Gallitos. We recommend them for average widths and it will stretch some with wear. Some of our newer styles with a wider fit are the Kite, Pato, Pintail. Feel free to give them a try and take advantage of our free returns policy if they don't work out!
