What can possibly be better than a slip-on huarache? We love the history of this native Mexican style (did you know that the huarache dates back to the 1400s?), but wanted to update it to an easily wearable and more current feminine design. So we took something super old, and made it just new enough to fit into our more modern lives. And the best part: the super soft thin woven leather will almost immediately start shifting into place and adjusting to your feet (so don't fret if they are a bit tight at first) making it custom to you. Each pair has been woven, by hand, by our friends in Sahuayo Mexico, a town most known for this intricate craft.
So for all of you ladies who lived in huaraches in college, or brought a pair home from a trip to Mexico, or are experiencing this style for your first time . . . grab a margarita, kick up your pretty little feet, and enjoy some old-world style with beek beauty and comfort.

soft, supple vegetable-tanned leather woven by hand
super comfortable molded leather arch
“toe-spring” for added foot support*
our signature two metal studs at inside of sole
tiny hand-pounded nail heads around insole
rubber heel pad for grip
*All all-leather beek sandals have a “rise” in the front (the leather curves up) called a ‘toe spring’. We add this to the design of the shoe to support your toes for comfort (just like an arch support). If you are not used to a toe-spring then it may feel ‘awkward’ at first but it is super important for comfort in the long-run. The height will quickly settle to your individual foot’s needs.
As is the case with all nice leather, we recommend wiping clean with a damp cloth and conditioning the product 2-3 times a year. These sandals are made to last - so treat them with love!
