The GALLITO slide is a leather-wrapped memory foam molded footbed sandal (now that’s a mouthful!). The molded footbed will provide arch and overall foot support and the memory foam will give cushion to the sole. The upper is 100% leather and the outsole is rubber for an easy all-surface grip.

"I had the pelicans in the same color way and loved them (and wore them completely out). When I went to replace I saw these and liked that they weren’t flat but didn’t have quite the high platform. "I absolutely love this color combo and waited patiently until my size was in stock, and was super delighted by how they fit and looked. Sadly I had to return them because the chemical smell (glue?) was too strong for me. . . I'd hoped it would fade, but after a week the shoes, the bag, and the box they arrived in still dominated every room they were in. I get migraines and I'm super sensitive to scents so it might not be a deal breaker for others, but given the price I couldn't justify keeping them. My loss!"

"I love my Gallito slides for many reasons: they are beautiful leather, something hard to find in stores because everything is vegan. They support my flat feet and i don't have any pain with them . They are bunion friendly. They are stylish. The color i chose is beautiful. They are not quite gold and not quite platinum, but a mix of the two helping them match my other accessories. I had no break in time, they fit lovely on the first day and didn't stretch out and get loose over time. i usually wear a size 7-71/2 but the 7 is fine for me."

- I have a very narrow foot and also need a heel that is slightly elevated. Which would be best for me In slides. Are there any with adjustable straps. I need to use these as bedroom slippers
- Some of our styles that run more narrow are the Hen, Honeybird, Whipbird, Seabird, Sunbeam, Puffback, Macaw, and Peacock. We have images on each product page that show different angles where you can get a better idea of the heel heights. You can also add our instep pads to the underside of the strap on many of our popular styles to give them a more snug fit. - Is the platinum color closer to silver or gold? Platinum makes me think silver but online they look gold
- Our platinum is more of a light gold but definitely not a yellow tone. In some light it picks up the more white tone in a silver, but doesn’t have the blue tone of a true silver. Hope that makes sense!
- What is the difference between Platinum and Platinum Beach
- Hi Leslie, the difference is on the footbed. On the Gallito platinum, both footbed and upper are platinum while on Gallito platinum/beach, the footbed is beach and the upper is platinum.
