As many of you may already know, we are SUPER passionate at beek about helping to feed at-risk children, especially in our own backyard. Did you know that 15.9 million children under 18 in the united states live in households where they are unable to consistently access enough food necessary for a healthy life? And many of these children are in our own backyard. While we are home eating healthy family dinners, there are children right here in orange county who are going to bed with no food. CHILDREN! It just kills us. So that’s why we’ve partnered with Feed OC and the Second Harvest Food Bank to donate a meal to a child in need for every pair of beeks sold. We’ve been doing this since the launch of our brand.

Through this partnership, we’ve been presented with an amazing volunteer opportunity, where we can bring our own children to learn about the importance of helping others, and educate them on why we all have to do our part to help feed our community.  We hope you will join us in this endeavor to not only help feed our at-risk neighbors but also expose our children and ourselves to real life challenges.

We’re inviting you and your children to join us on Saturday, September 30th, from 1:45 - 3:30pm at the Second Harvest Food Bank headquarters to do some manual labor, all in the name of helping children.

We have limited space for this special event, and we expect that it will fill up fast, so please register asap. We’ll see you all there!

The Peanut Butter & Jelly Buddies program
You can help us make sure that no child goes hungry by bringing in a plastic jar of peanut butter or jelly to your Izzy’s Corner visit—you can learn more at this link. This helps teachers provide sandwiches to their students to make sure no one is in class with an empty tummy.
